RAS Milwaukee Program Off to a Good Start in 2012

The RAS Milwaukee program competed in the NY2LA Spring Extravaganza in Minneapolis. Teams competed in the U16, U14, U13, U12, U11, U10 and U9 divisions. There were teams from Texas, Ohio, Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Minnesota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Three teams won the championship for their division – U16, U11, and U9. The U13 and U10 made it the semi finals – with U13 losing a heartbreaker in 5 OTs.

U16 team which is ranked in the top 20 nationally continued to impress as coaches from all over the nation watched during this open period. They had big wins against Texas Select, KC run GMC, and Wisconsin Swing.

U11 team breezed to 18 point wins in the semis vs Playground Elite and Net Gains (Minneapolis) in the championship.

U9 won the championship by 9 against Playground Elite.

The program continues to compete in tournaments throughout the country.
